Octavian Giosanu was born in 1976 and graduated from the Painting department of the Bucharest city’s University of Arts in 1999. His work inhabits the territory between the sacred and the profane – tracing the relationship between contemporary society and the myths it carries, from the cold abysses of the subconscious to the warm, luminous terrain of dreamed reality.
